The year was 2015. Tony Abbott ate a raw onion. Twice. The dress had us all flummoxed. Apple released the Apple Watch. Star Wars returned to our screens. Mad Men left our screens. Netflix finally launched in Australia.
It may not seem that long ago, but in the intervening time Spicy Web has changed. A lot. We’ve added team members. We’ve moved in to a bigger office. We’ve also dramatically increased the quality of our work, taking on bigger clients and more complex challenges. Our old website no longer effectively communicated our brand. That's why we started again. From the ground up.
Throughout our eight years in existence, we’ve found that we generally revitalise our web presence every 1-2 years. Our business changes, our goals change, and the work we produce changes. Our website is the primary touchpoint that connects our brand to our clients, so it is integral that it is updated to reflect us in the best possible way.
We had a few core objectives in designing and building our new website;
- Communicate our core services; Custom Websites and Online Marketing.
- Generate better content, more often by harnessing Craft CMS.
- Communicate our authentic, hands-on approach with real images and video.
Overall, our new website is sharp, dynamic, and engaging (at least, we think so). But most importantly, it talks directly to our clients about what we do and how we do it.
