Google Posts has now rolled out to all businesses via the Google My Business platform. You can now write a post within the platform that will instantly appear in the Google Search and Maps results.
When writing a new post, you have many options: upload an image, write text (up to 300 words) or add an event title (with start and end dates and times). Business can also add a call-to-action button including “Learn more,” “Reserve,” “Sign up,” “Buy” or “Get offer.”
The Google posts originated first in Jan 2016 as "candidate cards" but was only available for political candidates to post content relevant for political searches in Google.
But now we all have the option to post instant content about our business's in Google. So why not try this great feature out today for your business.
You can create your post in 3 easy steps:
- Go to the "Posts" tab in Google My Business
- Create your post and select a call to action for your potential customers
- Publish it — and it's live on Google!
