Where Are We Going? Wait I’ll Google It!

Although we were ambitious in our navigation of arguably Australia’s largest city, we were ultimately rubbish. The bustling city has many moving parts and Google’s help navigating our way showed us just how powerful and diverse the tech giant has become.

The Partners Program

The partners program, of which allowed us to obtain an exclusive tour of the premises has been at the forefront of our priorities for many years now. As a Google premier partner, we can truly say that our relationship with the tech giant is second to none. The first ever Australian case study of Google Ads featured a Spicy Web client, the first ever group of Google partners (when the program was then called engage) included Spicy Web/ Spicy Web was among the first attendants of Google’s new partners Masterclass initiatives. We have always been at the forefront of all things Google and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Google Office

The premises itself was simply incredible, let me tell you there is a succinct reason the firm was voted the best company in the world to work for. Around every bend you genuinely will find something new, from sleeping pods to electronic fireplaces or even pinball machines, Google was absolutely all it was cracked up to be. A prime example of a modern workplace was presented to us upon our arrival, gone were the corporate nuances of yesteryear, a suit and tie was as hard to find as someone who wasn’t enjoying themselves.

The Take Home Message

If we all can bring a bit of Google back to our workplaces, the better off we all will be. Just because something doesn’t drive an upfront ROI, doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing. There is more to life than ROI and Google shows this concept through and through, time again.
