Based in Frankston and operating globally, Kontrol4 work with organisations to update internal systems with mobile and cloud-based technology. Kontrol4 engaged Spicy Web for a full suite of services to overhaul their brand and reposition them online, including; a full brand refresh, custom and responsive CMS website design, followed by AdWords and Social Media ads, as well as facilitating ongoing SEO.

Design

Spicy Web were tasked with a complete re-brand of the business. Formerly Vertical Matters, we were challenged to evolve the brand to a place that elevated them from a small startup into a global player with a bold and unique look and voice. 

The resulting brand design emphasises their tech-startup nature and evolves it into a brand experience that is attention-grabbing, vivid and future-fied. With a visual link to their past, the cloud icon represents the services they provide, while a custom wordmark offers own ability to the brand.

Website

With varying audiences and a large amount of content, we worked closely with the team and principals at Kontrol4 to rethink and restructure the website for a more sensible and friendly user-flow. 

The website was built by our development team on Craft CMS, allowing us to create a website that is easy to use and update into the future, meaning that the Kontrol4 team can use in-house resources to keep the website content fresh and current.

Online Marketing

Following the launch of the website and re-brand, Spicy Web developed an ongoing online marketing strategy involving Google Ads as well as Social Media Ads that marketed the new website and brand to clients new and existing.
